Maber Construction
Steve brings 48 years of industry experience to his role at Maber, where he has spent the last 15 years applying that depth of knowledge to projects across Heathrow Airport. As Senior Project Manager, he oversees work delivered directly to Heathrow Airport under the Retail & Commercial Framework Contract, acting as Principal Contractor. His work ranges from small works and reactive maintenance through to multi-discipline refurbishment, fit-out, and shell and core projects.
Steve’s background is rooted in electrical engineering and installation, gained on sites across the UK and Europe earlier in his career, and later expanded to include air conditioning and ventilation design. Years spent working on site gave him broad knowledge across construction and fit-out beyond MEP, before he moved into project management and later joined the team at Heathrow. He works closely with clients, stakeholders, designers, and subcontractors to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with industry and Heathrow standards.
Alongside his project responsibilities, Steve also acts as Principal Duty Holder and Qualifying Supervisor for the company’s NICEIC membership.
